About Us
Craven Gymnastics Club is proud to have provided gymnastics education to Skipton and the surrounding area since 1973. Half a century is fast approaching!! We are proud members of British Gymnastics and are a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of dedicated volunteers & coaches whom we are so thankful to for all the work they do.
We are a small, friendly club offering gymnastics education across all ages in the disciplines general gym, women’s artistic, disability, pre-school and adult gymnastics. More recently we have also started working with schools in the local area and hope to continue encouraging everyone to get involved and have fun. All our coaches are fully qualified in a variety of gymnastics disciplines with mandatory police and safeguarding checks.
Our mission is to provide gymnastics to all to inspire as many people as possible to get involved in this amazing and unique sport and pride ourselves on our love and passion for the sport and our strong family atmosphere. We firmly believe every child, or adult, can achieve success at any standard through fun, practice, and dedication.
With a clear progression route through the club there is equal opportunity for all as we attend various community events taking place throughout the year that really cement our members sense of being part of the Craven team, whatever their skill level. We also have an advanced section of the club who travel to small friendly competitions and create display work.
Currently we do not have the facilities to offer men’s artistic gymnastics however we do take boys in our general gymnastics sessions.
Thank you to all our members, volunteers and coaches who have been involved over the years for their endless dedication to the sport and our lovely little club. If you would like to get involved please get in touch!
Here’s to another 50 years of gymnastics and endless fun!
