Skipton Gala - 8th June 2024
We were honoured to once again perform at Skipton Gala this year. The sun was shining and all the gymnasts performed brilliantly to a ABBA medley. In addition to the performance we held a tombola stall which helped us fundraise almost £250 going towards the upkeep and purchase of equipment !
Floor + Vault Competition 13th-16th March 2024
It has been 5 years since we last managed to hold a club competition, with this being the first competition that involved every single one of our members. The competition has been a great success with all members getting a medal and certificate of completion.
The competition was split into Recreational, development squad and our advanced squad.
We are so proud of all the gymnasts and hopefully they had as much fun performing their routines as we did watching them !

Our Christmas disco helped us with the last fundraiser of our 50th anniversary year. On Friday 24th November we welcomed all our gymnasts to dance the night away with Christmas themed games + prizes. A great chance for the gymnasts to socialise and have fun outside of classes!

Skipton Gala - 10th June 2023
Once again we were asked to join the gala this year we were honoured to be asked to perform as Skipton Charities Gala main stage event on the 10th June 2023. This was a great privilege and we completed 5 routines to soundtracks from the 70s in keeping with our 50th anniversary year. Already being asked on the day to join them next year so best get planning !
50th Anniversary display - 26th March 2023
As part of our 50th anniversary year celebrations we held a display day ! This day allowed each and every one of our gymnasts to have the chance to show of their best moves and routines in front of their friends and family. The display had a soundtrack of the 70s and included fundraisers including a tombola, cake stall, raffle and merchandise stall. A great day was had by all.
50 years of Craven Gymnastics Club ! 1973-2023
The year of 2023 is the year we celebrate 50 years of our gymnastics club. To celebrate we have lots of exciting displays and events planned. In addition to this we have launched our very own certificate system to allow the gymnasts to work through levels to gain their basic knowledge and understanding of gymnastic skills.
Christmas Disco night - 26th November 2022
All gymnasts were invited to join us for a Christmas disco - A great way for the children from all classes to get together an enjoy a dance and party. The night was a huge success with tickets selling out ! All gymnasts enjoyed celebrating with each other and dancing the night away !

1st Craven Invitational competition - 8th March 2020
We are proud to announce that we were once again nominated for the Craven Community Champions award for our contribution to sport and volunteering in the community.
We were super excited to be shortlisted as finalists and our coaches and club Chair and Secretary, Tab and Karen, attended the awards ceremony in February 19.
We will forever be proud of who we are as club and our commitment to the sport and our community and strive to continue to learn and grow our loving club to encourage as many people as possible to get involved in this amazing sport!

Today we hosted the 1st Craven invitational inter-club competition in 35 years! We would like to thank All Stars Academy for travelling to compete with us today, to all our lovely volunteers for their fundraising efforts and running the "cafe" and to our coaches and volunteers for organizing. We thank you for your continued support of the club, it is much appreciated as always! Well done and congratulations to all the girls who competed, it was a fantastic day for all involved!
We were honoured to be asked to participate in the procession as part of Skipton Gala. Gymnasts marched along with the procession whilst amazing the crowds with their skills.
Recreational groups club competition - 7th December 2019
The Saturday recreational classes competed in their first even competition, even our tiny preschoolers took part! We are unbelievably proud of the courage and bravery shown by all the incredible children who took part! Well done everyone, keep up the hard work, we feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with and coach these amazing tiny people.
Thank you to all the parents, coaches and volunteers who donated prizes, baked cakes and helped on the day to make this even so special. We are truly grateful and the club truly would have grown in to what it is today without all of your continued support. Thank you!!
Developmental group club competition - 4th December 2019
The Wednesday developmental groups took part in their first ever competition in house this week performing floor routines to music and some tricky vaults of their choice from the ages of age 7 plus. The gymnasts held their nerve, all performing with bravery and confidence, we can't wait to see what the future holds for these superstars. With this attitude, they will go far, keep up the hard work!
Southport 4 piece invitational competition - 24th November 2019

Advanced Squad club competition - 19th November 2019
The advanced competition squad travelled to Southport to compete in the All Stars Academy 4 piece invitational inter-club competition. All gymnastics competed extremely well with some competing new moves and routines for the first time. Well done everyone! The results are as below:

New Coaches - 13th October 2019
Congratulations to our newest qualified coaches! These four young ladies traveled to Astre Academy of Gymnastics to complete their British Gymnastics Qualification this weekend, and all four passed with flying colours.

Skipton Gala - 8th June 2019
Craven gymnasts had a great time walking in the Skipton Gala procession. Plans were altered due to the weather conditions but everyone had great fun showcasing their dancing skills, leaps and jumps. A little bit of rain doesn't put a Craven Gymnast off!
Not one of the girls complained about the weather or getting wet, it was thoroughly embraced by all. Everyone brought their biggest smiles!
Thank you so much to all the parents who walked with us and Matthew for driving the car, you deserve a nice brew to warm up and dry out!
Southport Invitational Competition - 12th May 2019
The advanced competition group travelled to Southport to compete in a friendly inter-club floor and vault competition on the 12th May.
All the girls had an incredible competition and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them!

We were thrilled to be invited take part in the Greatest Party event for the community, performing in a Big top tent to raise money for Manorlands Hospice. The event raised over £1000.00 for the amazing charity and we are so proud of all of gymnasts for taking part and contributing to this event.
